Great getaway--loved that it was right on the river! You can hear the sound of the river from inside the house; the back deck was great; accommodations where what we needed. John was great--very accommodating with kayaking drop off/pick up and tips on where to go for hiking, etc.

Serenity Woods Cottage

Super quiet area, surrounded by trees was a great setting for a weekend away. Very close to all the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore has to offer, including hiking, sightseeing, kayaking, etc. The house was well-appointed and everything looked brand new. The owner was easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time at the cabin, enjoying the cold at the firepit and at the fireplace. The cabin is very cozy and spacious. We were 5 plus our dog. John communicated with us promptly at all times. Would definetly recommend!
